People of Jammu have suffered injustice for long: Jaitley

Mumbai, Aug 22 (UNI) Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley today blamed the Central Government for the Amarnath land controversy and alleged that the people of Jammu have suffered injustice for the last 61 years due to wrong policies adopted by the Congress.

Speaking at a public meeting organised by the party here, Mr Jaitley said the people of Jammu have been facing oppression for long.

The BJP leader alleged that the census of that state was not being done properly. He said while the population of Kashmir has been growing continously, Jammu's population was decreasing.

The Union Government is now bowing down before the separatists also, he alleged.

He said it all depended on the Central Government as to what approach it has to adopt to resolve this impasse and give justice to the people of Jammu.
