No onjectionable comment against Patel: BJ

Bhopal, Aug 22 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janshakti has clarified that party President Uma Bharti had not made any objectionable comment against former Union Minister Prahlad Patel.

In a statement issued here today, the BJ stated that Ms Bharti had described Mr Patel as a dedicated worker during a press conference in Narsinghpur.

The BJ stated that nothing else was stated against Mr Patel.

Her statement was twisted out of context.

Some newspapers had published that Ms Bharti had made objectionable comments against Mr Patel.

HC orders private channels not to violate Olympic telecast rights

5 terrorists, 4 armymen including a CO killed in J-K

Srinagar, August 22 : Commanding Officer of 45 Rashtriya Rifles battalion, three other armymen and five terrorists were killed on Friday in a gun battle in Macchal sector of Jammu and Kashmir. Colonel J. J. Joseph, CO of the 45 Rastriya Rifles was killed in an operation against a group of foreign militants in the forests of Macchal sector in Kupwara district.
