Karti to attend Democratic Convention on Obama at Denver

Chennai, Aug 22 (UNI) All India Congress Committee (AICC) Member Karti P Chidambaram will attend the Democratic Party's convention to be held at Denver, Colarado in the US where Senator Barrack Obama would be declared as the party's presidential candidate.

The convetion would be held from August 24 to 28.

Mr Karti, son of Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram, received a a special invitation from Former US Secretary of State Madeleine K Albright, an official release here today said.
