Era Infra bags contract worth Rs 111.27 Cr from CPWD

New Delhi, Aug 22 (UNI) Era Infra Engineering Ltd, a unified infrastructure development conglomerate, today said it has bagged contract worth Rs 111.27 Cr from Central Public Works Department (CPWD).

The company has bagged a contract for Up-gradation, renovation and new construction for Commonwealth Games 2010 in J N Stadium Sports Complex, New Delhi worth Rs 111.27 crores, it said in a statement.

The scope of work includes internal space planning of main stadium building including repair work of the upper tier, it added.

Jammu, Aug 22: Security forces rescued four people from the clutches of the Harkat-ul-Mujahideen (HM) outfit in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources here today said. ''Based on specific information, the troops of 11 RR and state police last night launched a search operation and raided a hideout in tehsil Chatroo area,'' official sources told UNI. However, those who were rescued later surrendered before the security forces along with some ammunition and revealed that HM militants lured them to provide information.....

Jammu, Aug 22 (UNI) An Army jawan, among two people, was killed in two different road accidents in Udhampur and Reasi districts of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources here said.
