Corporate governance issuess to figure at ICAI's seminar

New Delhi, Aug 22 (UNI) Corporate governance practices in India and related issues will be discussed threadbare at a national seminar being organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and National Foundation for Corporate Governance (NFCG) tomorrow at Mumbai.

The seminar, which will take up corporate governance issues being confronted the world over, including India, will encourage interaction and experience sharing between the participants and speakers.

The programme, which will cover four technical sessions, has an impressive list of speakers including CA S Santhanakrishnan, Chairman, Committee on Corporate Governance of ICA; Mr A K Awasthi, Director General (Commercial), Office of the CAG of India; Dr N L Mitra, former V C, National Law University, Jodhpur; CA B R Jaju, CFO, Crompton Greaves; CA Sandeep Batra, ICICI Bank and Mr C Ramulu, Director, HPCL.

Dryland bias will affect food security:ICRISAT
