BJP finds fault with Communist for difficulties in Singur

New Delhi, Aug 22 (UNI) Reacting to the Tata Motors' threat to withdraw the Nano project from Singur in West Bengal as the situation was not conducive for the commencement of production, the BJP today said the Communists in the state should take the blame.

BJP spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy said the oppressive methods, unleashed by the Communists, had vitiated the whole atmosphere, forcing Chairman Ratan Tata to threaten to pull out the project.

All the claims of the state government that things were normal had been found false and Mr Tata's statement was testimony to the state of affairs in Singur, Mr Rudy added.

The spokesman also gave an evasive reply to the question if the BJP would revise its support to the Trinamool Congress in the wake of Mr Tata's statement, saying the party would continue its support to all ordinary people in the nation's interest.
