Bangladesh condemns bomb blasts in Pakistan

Dhaka, Aug 22 (UNI) Bangladesh today condemned yesterday's blasts in a Pakistani town Wah that reportedly killed 63 people.

In a condolence message to Pakistani Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi today, Bangladesh caretaker government's Foreign Adviser Dr Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury said, ''I condemn this cowardly act of terrorism in the strongest terms.'' ''All Bangladeshis join me in prayer for the salvation of the departed souls who got killed in the incident and for the early recovery of the injured,'' he added.

Two suicide bombers blew themselves up at the gates of Pakistan main weapons complex yesterday, killing 63 people.

Police seize eight country-made guns,two revolvers

Theni, Tamil Nadu Aug 22 (UNI) In a massive crack down against illegal arms to curb nefarious activities, police confiscated eight country-made guns and two revolvers during the past two days and arrested 11 persons in the naxalite-infested Theni district here. HC orders status quo on petition by Dinakaran on revenue row
