Terrorists hack Lucknow based IT professional's website

Lucknow, Aug 21 (UNI) In a sensational anti-national act, some terrorist organisation has hacked a website of a young IT software professional in the state capital today.

According to police, some hackers have hacked the website' crystalwebhost.net' of one Syed Rafat Abbas, a 24-year-old software professional in Chowk locality here.

A case under Cyber Crime Act section 65 and 66 has been registered at the Chowk police station and further investigation was underway. The Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) of the UP police was also probing the content of the hacked website.

According to Abbas, the front page of his website after hacking had about 10 to 12 lines, all scripts in Arabic language and experts said it contained words like Sahadat, Jehaad and Kashmir.

The hackers have termed themselves as JPI group in the website, while two mail IDs for contact have been given. The two emails given are: vip_sbi_s@hotmail.com and a_aliiraj@hotmail.com.

This would be the second instance of cyber crime being linked to Lucknow after the case of a US citizen Kenneth Haywood's links with one Mohammed Ali of Lucknow.

Mumbai police was said to have alerted it's UP counterpart that Navi Mumbai resident Haywood, from whose laptop an email was sent to the media minutes before the serial blasts in Ahmedabad had close nexus with a resident of Lucknow Mohammad Ali and he might have passed on the email ID of Haywood to Abdul Subhan Qureshi.

Chiranjeevi to address public on August 26

Hyderbad, Aug 21 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee President D Srinivas today denied media reports that the party was not giving priority to the Backward Classes in the selection of District Congress Committee (DCC) Presidents.
