Parag dairy's milk collection centre incharge shot dead in UP

Lucknow, Aug 21 (UNI) Parag milk dairy's incharge Om Prakash(45), was shot dead by some unidentified assailants in forest area under Sardhana police station of Meerut district early this morning.

Om Prakash, a local resident, used to collect milk for Pradeshik Coopeartive Dairy Federation (PCDF) which was further distributed through Parag dairies.

He was passing through the forest area when he was shot dead around 0400 hrs, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Meerut told UNI over phone.

The reason behind the crime was yet to be ascertained, while the search for the miscreants was on, the SSP informed.

The body has been sent for postmortem.

CAG pulls up tourism dept for Rs 2.46 cr idle investment

CAG censures Goa Housing Department for Rs 6.70 cr loss

Nagarjuna bags 3 new orders worth Rs 474 cr

New Delhi, Aug 21: Hyderabad-based infrastructure major Nagarjuna Construction (NCCL) on Thursday, AUg 21 said it has bagged three orders worth Rs 474 crore. The first order valued at Rs 252 crore has been secured from Engineers India for development of sports facilities and associated infrastructure development work for Commonwealth Games-2010 at North Campus, Delhi University, a company statement said. The project will be completed over a period of 18 months, it added. The second order is from Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation.....
