HP Congress to assess flood damage in Una

Shimla, Aug 21 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Congress has constituted a two-member committee to assess the damage of property caused by recent flood in Swana River in Una district.

In a press release issued here today, party president Kaul Singh Thakur said that the committee in the chairmanship of Ranvir Rana would visit the affected parts of the district to assess the damage to habitation, cultivated land and standing crops.

Mr Ram Nath Sharma will be the second member of the committee.

He said that the committee would submit its report within ten days.

Political stalemate over car project hinders industrialisation
