Goa's Pradosh Salim Khan, Aruna Gautam move into second round

Panaji, Aug 21 (UNI) Pradosh Salim khan (Goa), Hiren Shastri (Gandhinagar), A V Lembre, M R Shevde both (Mumbai) and Subhash Pandey (Nagpur) scored easy victories over their opponents and moved into second round of the men's singles 42nd LIC Western zonal Badminton tournament, which got underway at Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) indoor complex here today.

In the ladies singles, J P Badheka (Rajkot), K K Chauvan (Nagpur), Aruna Gautam (Goa), Priya Pawar (Mumbai) and M S Hardikar (Kolhapur) moved into second round.

Marriage breakdown forces Lee to pull out of B`desh series

Tehreek-e-Taliban accepts responsibility for blasts (Update-Blasts)

Islamabad, Aug.21 : The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has claimed responsibility of the twin suicide bomb blasts in the Wah Cantonement area which killed at least 60 people and injured over 80 others.
