Bhopal, Aug 21(UNI) Dr Vijay Singh Tomar has been appointed the first Vice Chancellor of Gwalior Agriculture University, it was officially announced today. Governor and Chancellor Balram Jakhar signed the appointment order yesterday, official sources said, adding Dr Tomar's tenure would be for 18 months. Assembly special session to be held on August 25

Ranchi, Aug 21 (UNI) Jharkhand Governor Syed Sibte Razi today gave his consent to hold a special session of the Assembly on August 25. Bone marrow stem cells may help treat inflammatory bowel disease

Washington, Aug 21 : A new study in mouse model has shown that infusions of a particular bone marrow stem cell appears to control inflammatory bowel disease. Researchers at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) found that mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), known to control several immune system activities, allowed the regeneration of the gastrointestinal lining in mice with a genetic mutation leading to multiorgan autoimmune disease.
