93 Kashmiri pandit migrants selected in IRP

Srinagar, Aug 21 (UNI) The Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Recruitment Board has selected 93 Kashmiri migrants as constables in the Indian Reserve Police (IRP), an official spokesman said today.

He said the candidates belonging to Kashmir Valley had been selected as constables in the IRP 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th Battalions.

Meanwhile, according to District Development Commissioner, Bandipora, the interview of candidates for the posts of District Programme Manager, District Accounts Manager and District Data Assistant on contractual basis would be held in his office on August 25.

Dr Verma to head Science Council

Bhopal, Aug 21 (UNI) The Madya Pradesh government has appointed Dr Pramod K Verma as Director General of Madhya Pradesh Science and Technology Council. He replaced Dr Mahesh Sharma, who had resigned, official sources said, adding at present Dr Verma was Professor of Applied Geology in the Ujjain's Vikram University. The Departmental Minister had also been appointed Chairman of the Council's Executive Committee in place of the Director General, the sources added. UNI SP SW BST1311.....
