Bihar: 3 killed in train-tractor collision

Khagaria, Aug 8: At least three people were killed and one was seriously injured when a passenger train collided with a tractor near Sikania Dhala crossing of Barauni-Katihar rail division under East Central Railway (ECR) today.

Railway sources said the Down Intercity Express, travelling from Danapur to Saharsa, collided with the tractor when the ill-fated vehicle was crossing the tracks near Sikania Dhala.

Three labourers on the tractor were killed on the spot while the driver was seriously injured.

The injured has been admitted to the Mansi Railway Hospital, the sources added.

Sheohar, May 23: Two people, including a woman, were electrocuted at Dalit Basti early this morning when a live electric wire fell on a hut.
