Nashik, Jun 17: Believe it or not, but it's true! A policeman from Nashik Police Commissionerate, has challenged Dilipsingh Rana alias 'Khali', the nation's top most WWF wrestler. ''I challenge the great 'Khali' to knock me out by hitting 21 punches on my head. I want to prove that I am the man with the strongest head not only in India but across the globe. Anyone from India or abroad can accept the challenge,'' 'The Stone Head Man of India' award winner Dhannjay Shewale announced here.
Shewale joined the police force in 1985. It all started with the dream to be a film star. When he was rejected by a director, his brother and also his teacher, Madhukar Shewale, vowed to make him a real hero. A brown belt holder in Karate, Shewale breaks bricks, stones, marble pieces on his head. He also bears the blows of a 4 kg hammer, 'lathi' and other things. The man with the passion to be a 'Hero', has won several honours, including the state-level Rajeshree Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Award. A Limca Book of Record holder, Mr Shewale has performed in 'Shabash India', a reality show on Zee TV. He has set a record of breaking 500 tiles in 14 minutes 42 seconds during the show. Mr Shewale gives the credit of his skill to meditation. He spends 420 minutes on meditation every day. A special diet of one kg mutton, 6 eggs, one litre milk and a 'Sharbat' of 250 gms of Desi Ghee and a strong willpower, gives him the strength to dare to challenge the great 'Khali'.
