Washington, May 2 : Actress Uma Thurman finally testified against her accused stalker in Manhattan State Supreme Court on May 1, and told the judge that the experience was a "nightmare".
The 'Kill Bill' actress was nothing like her daredevil screen image when it came to facing her stalker Jack Jordan, as she was trembling with fear when she took the stand before him.
She admitted that she was "freaked out" at the time when the accused allegedly delivered a card bearing a picture of an open grave and a man standing on the edge of a razor blade.
"It was like a nightmare. It was scary," Conatctmusic quoted Thurman, as saying.
The actress also said that the horrifying note also featured the line "My hands should be on your body at all times."
She also revealed that when she called her parents, who testified in the case on April 28, to alerting them about what she had received, she got to know from her father that even he had received e-mail messages from Jordan.
"I felt a stone drop in my stomach. The idea that this had a history made it even more terrifying," said Thurman.
However, the Hollywood star preferred not to look at Jordan, who is accused of following and attempting to contact her from early 2005 until 2007, as according to her testimony.
Though the trail is continuing, but if found guilty of stalking and aggravated harassment charges, Jordan will face a year in jail.
