Three injured in bomb explosion near Manipur CM's residence

Imphal, Apr 24 : A bomb explosion at a VIP area at Babupara in Imphal, which is nearly 100 meters from Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh's residence, injured three persons today.

The bomb was hidden in a scooter parked in front of the Congress chief whip T Mangibabu's residence and exploded at around 10.30 am injuring three passers-by, police said.

The injured were admitted to a hospital, police added.

The explosion also damaged the wall of the Congress functionary's residence.
