Guy Ritchie blasts foreigners who buy properties in the UK

London, April 24 : Guy Ritchie has slammed foreigners for snapping up UK homes - despite his American pop star/wife Madonna owning seven pads in the country.

The 39-year-old film director said Brits are being priced out of the property market by rich investors from abroad.

"The natives of England are left behind because the big money came in - and if it wanted something, it bought it," The Sun quoted Ritchie, as telling Empire Magazine.

Yet Madonna and Ritchie own a 7million pounds house in posh Belgravia, West London.

Other properties include a 3.65 million pounds house in Marylebone - used as the Kabbalah sect's headquarters.

Not to mention their 9 million pounds Ashcombe estate in Wiltshire.

Ritchie complaint it was impossible to buy a central London house for under 10 million pounds.

He was speaking to the magazine to promote his new film RocknRolla, set in London.

The director said his latest film, out in September, is inspired by how foreign billionaires have changed London.
