'Fashion icon' status has Keith Richards baffled



Washington, April 24 : Renowned rocker Keith Richards says that he just can't understand why he has been chosen to spearhead a major advertising campaign for French fashion house Louis Vuitton, when his 'Rolling Stones' bandmate Charlie Watts is the most stylish member of the group.

He says that a cause of his bafflement over his "fashion icon" status is the fact that he never spends much of time in selecting his own wardrobe.

He believes that Watts would have been a much more obvious choice.

"Charlie Watts is the most stylish member. He spends his time on the beauty and the cut of the clothing," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

"There he is on Savile Row (London street famed for its tailors), and I'm the fashion icon? Fashion thinks more about me than I think about it," he said.
