Panaji, Apr 22 (UNI) The visiting personnel of United states Naval vessel, USS Cole, for the first time will play an exhibition baseball match against Goa Baseball Association (GBA) team at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Fatorda, Margao in south Goa tomorrow.

Amateur Baseball Federation of India (ABFI) president Ramakant Angle, speaking to mediapersons here today said, the USS Cole is visiting Goa for the firt time. Its port visit is a part of ongoing efforts to foster the India-US military relationship.

Mr Angle said the match between Goa and USS Cole is jointly organised by US Consulate General, Mumbai and GBA.

The American Consulate General Deputy media advisor Rekha Kalle, who was also present, announced the 20-member team.

USS Cole Baseball team: Cdr Cary Krause, Patrick Reynolds, Lt Ray Glenn, Lt Andrew Henwood, Lt J G Paul Knittle, DCC John Ralston, Michael Encalade, Ryan Ratts, Charles Whitestone, Mark Finley, Stevan Figueroa, Carlos Eldridge, Jamey Copper, Christopher Hawkins, Stevan Bovaird, Sameul Wright, Joshua Winkler, Carlton Mallory, Michael Griffin and Thomas Loughlin.

Goa team: Kailas Gaonkar (Captain), Sidhesh Naik, Durgesh Prabhudesai, Krupesh Palkar, Ashay Korde, Shekar Karmlakar, Prasad Payaknavar, Gouresh Naik, Sudesh Guade, Ritesh Gaonkar, Naresh Kalangutkar and Pratik Gawas.
