Reliance Retail inks 50:50 JV with US firm

New Delhi, Apr 22 (UNI) Reliance Retail Ltd today said it has entered into a 50:50 joint venture agreement with US-based office supplies retailer Office Depot to provide office products and services to business customers in the country.

The company said in a statement that it has also acquired eOfficePlanet, which provides office products and services, in order to enhance its JV rollout.

Mr Sreenivas Nagappa will serve as country manager for Office Depot India, while Shyam Barilits Gupta, who currently serves as Chief Executive of eOfficePlanet, will continue as part of the eOfficePlanet management team, it added.
