Physio to decide on Sachin, all rounders our strength: Pollock

Chennai, Apr 22 (UNI) Former South African all rounder Shaun Pollock, one of the stars in Mumbai Indians team which is to take on Chennai Super Kings in the DLF Indian Premier League (IPL), today said he was not sure if captain Sachin Tendulkar, recovering from a groin injury, would be able to take the field at the M A Chidambaram stadium here tomorrow.

''I am not pretty sure, we are leaving it to the Physio to take a decision tomorrrow on Sachin'', said Pollock, who addressed the media, indicating that he may lead the team instead of off spinner Harbhajan Singh, who had captained the side in the absence of Sachin in Mumbai team's first match on home turf.

Mumbai had lost their first outing against Royal Challengers, Bangalore on Sunday last.

Pollock said ''we are all concerned about Sachin playing.'' Asked how well the Mumbai team, under pressure to win the game on the morrow having lost the league opener, was prepared for the game, Pollock said ''you prepare the same way generally for every game. But each game is different and each team is different.'' Asked what the strength of the Mumbai team was, he said it was the all rounders.'' We have very good all rounders. But we need Sachin to strengthen our batting in the coming matches.'' Pollock said the inclusion of West Indian pace bowler Bravo would prove to be very beneficial for the Mumbai team. ''He will add a lot of experience to the side. He bowls very well and is fantastic on the field'', he observed.

Asked if the Mumbai bowlers were ready to tackcle the strong batting line up of Chennai Super Kings, Pollock said the home team had a good line up of batsmen. Their top order is full of left handers, barring Dhoni.'' That makes it difficult for the bowlers to adjust.
