Washington, Apr 22 : Becoming a mother is what inspired Geri Halliwell to heal the rift between her and fellow Spice Girl Victoria Beckham.

The two stars' friendship suffered a blow when Geri first walked out on the Spice Girls in 1998. The bond was further strained when Posh left out Ginger from her guest list at her 1999 wedding to footballer David Beckham.

However, now that she's mother herself, Halliwell admits that she has a 'huge admiration' for the way Posh handles her professional and personal lives.

"I have huge admiration for Victoria. She had her boys with her the whole time (during the tour) and she's done such a great job with them - they are all so well mannered and caring," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

"We are actually the biggest supporters of each other. We feel really proud of one another, particularly when you add this bond of motherhood," she added.
