Gillian Anderson is no 'X- Files' fan

London, April 22 : 'X- Files' star Gillian Anderson has revealed that she is not a fan of the hit show.

The 39-year-old, who played FBI Special Agent Dana Scully in the series, has been reunited with co-star David Duchovny for the movie adaptation.

However, Anderson refuses to watch any of the shows or the forthcoming movie - because the genre is unappealing to her.

"It has never really been my cup of tea to be honest," The Daily Express quoted her, as saying.

"I'm not really a television watcher. I don't think I would have watched the show," she added.

"I see what it is, I can appreciate its appeal to people. I can justify it in the context of my life," she added.
