Del Boy Trotter voted TV's most favourite rogue

London, April 22 : Del Boy Trotter, the fictional lead character in the popular BBC sitcom 'Only Fools and Horses,' has been named TV's most loveable rogue.

Del Boy, played by Sir David Jason, had more than 20 years of scrapes and scams in the series before it bowed out in 2003.

"Del Boy's doomed get-rich-quick schemes, geezer gait and wheezing three-wheeler saw the south London scoundrel top our poll of TV's loveable rogues. A man so dodgy he could bottle tap water and pass it off as finest Peckham Spring," The Telegraph quoted the magazine, as saying.

Norman Stanley Fletcher from prison comedy 'Porridge' was second on the list while Sawyer from Channel 4 drama 'Lost,' played by Josh Holloway, was at number three.

'EastEnders' Alfie Moon, played by Shane Richie landed the fourth spot and 'Minder's Arthur Daley, played by George Cole, stood fifth.
