Ban Raj and Bal Thackerays' parties : MS Bitta

Patna, Apr 22 (UNI) Chairman of All India Anti Terrorist Front (AIATF) M S Bitta today announced to file a PIL in the Supreme Court demanding ban on the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and Shiv Sena.

Dubbing MNS Chief Raj Thackeray and Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray as 'political terrorists', Mr Bitta condemned the 'loathsome and discriminatory' statements issued against Biharis by both leaders.

He told newspersons here that he would file a PIL in the apex court with a prayer to ban both parties prohibiting them from contesting elections and from participating in any political activity.

Demanding a stringent law against those indulging in attacks on Bihari migrants and issuing derogatory remarks amounting to humiliation of Biharis living outside their state, Mr Bitta alleged that both the Thackerays and their party were trying to create another ''Bhindranwala''.

Mr Bitta reiterated his commitment to protect Biharis living anywhere in the country and said they had excelled because of their talent and skill.

He was, however, surprised over the 'mysterious silence' of the political parties on the vexed issue and suggested the leaders come under one umbrella to counter such derogatory moves.

Outlining his contributions in tackling the attacks on Bihari migrants in Punjab and others states, Mr Bitta assured the people of standing solidly behind.

Mr Bitta lauded the efforts of the NDA government, led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, in transforming Bihar.

He comapred Mr Kumar with former Punjab chief minister Beant Singh and the then DGP of Punjab K P S Gill, saying Mr Kumar was also striving for the betterment of Bihar.
