3 children among 4 burnt in fire incident

Sitapur, Apr 22 (UNI) A woman and her three children sustained severe burn injuries in a fire incident in Sidhauli area here.

According to sources, the incident happened early this morning when a fire spark caught Suvasni clothes. Her three children -- Khushbu, Satyam and Chaman -- who were sleeping with her also sustained burn injuries.

The wounded have been admitted to hospital.

Fire breaks, houses reduced to ash

Kohima, Apr 12: Atleast four houses were reduced to ashes when a fire broke out in Chumukedima block.According to official sources here today kitchen of a house caught fire which later spread to the entire area. Many thatched houses were also demolished in the area last evening. However, no casualty was reported.Three fire tenders swung into action immediately and contained the fire. It took about three hours to douse the fire completely.Fire brigade officials said that the investigation was on.UNI .....
