Imphal, Apr 19: Ruangmei Lu Phuam (RLP) Ruangmei Women Organisation today expressed concern over continuing clashes between rival factions of the NSCN that has created violence and tension here.

''Manipur and Nagaland had been witnessing series of shootouts and killings among the rival groups for the past decades,'' he said, adding the organisation condemned such acts of violence and urged them to find a permanent solution to this problem.

The Ruangmei women appealed to both the rival groups to stop the ''senseless killing'' between their cadres ''for the sake of their mothers, sisters, daughters and for the sake of the humanity.''
