Quranic manuscript donated to Iqbal library in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 16: A 200-year-old holy Quran was among hundreds of rare books and other manuscripts donated by people to Allama Iqbal Library, Hazratbal.

The donation was made following an appeal by Kashmir University Vice-Chancellor Prof Riyaz Punjabi to people.

Prof Punjabi said we have been successful in making the library a real and modern knowledge house accessible to students and scholars of the valley .

Prof Punjabi again made an appeal to people to contribute to rich collections of Iqbal Library by donating manuscripts and rare books .

India, Pak Auditors General discuss cooperation

New Delhi, Mar 13: India and Pakistan today agreed to strengthen cooperation between the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI) of the two countries in areas of public audit and accounts. Pakistan's Auditor General Mohammed Yunis Khan, currently on a five-day visit o India, met Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) Vijayendra Kaul and discussed with him ways to strengthen cooperation between the SAIs of the two countries. Mr Khan who arrived here yesterday, also met senior officials.....
