Jitendra Singh is new Cong chief of Ballia

Lucknow, Apr 16 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Congress president Dr Rita Bahuguna Joshi today appointed Jitendra Singh as the new party chief of Ballia.

The information was given by the Congress chief spokesperson Akhilesh Pratap Singh here this evening.

The post had been lying vacant since the resignation of Rajiv Upadhyay after the Ballia bypoll debacle.
