Washington, April 16 : 'Rush Hour' stars Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker are once again ready to act together, though in a different film.

"We've just agreed to do it. It's like two days ago when Chris Tucker called me," Contactmusic quoted Chan as telling MTV.

"We sat down and decided we want to do another movie. Not a 'Rush Hour' - something new. Now we're looking for the writer," he added.

Chan also said that he disliked the long time lapses between the Rush Hour films, and that he wanted things to move forward quickly.

Earlier, he had said that he did not understand what was so humorous about the Rush Hour films.

In his blog, he termed the series "too Americanised".

Chan next appears with Jet Li in the film 'The Forbidden Kingdom'.
