Court extends remand of Singhi Ram and Rahi

Shimla, Apr 16 (UNI) Special Judge (Forest) J L Gupta today extended the police remand of former Congress minister Singhi Ram and former chairman of HP Board of School Education, B R Rahi till April 18.

Both the accused were today produced before the court by the State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau team. Singhi Ram and Rahi, booked for cheating and forgery in the infamous fake marksheet case, were under hospitalisation at the Indira Gandhi Medical hospital for last few days, after both had complained of ill health.
