Ahmedabad, Apr 16 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha L K Advani has condoled the death of 44 people, mainly school students, in a road accident that occurred near Vadodara city early today.
In a statement in New Delhi Mr Advani said.
''I am deeply shocked and saddened after learning about the accident where a state transport bus, carrying students, including 32 girls, plunged into the Narmada canal near Vadodara this morning.'' He said ''It is an immeasurable and irreparable loss to the parents who have lost their loved ones. I condole with a very heavy heart the unfortunate death of so many children and share the grief of the distressed parents and family members.'' Gujarat Governor Naval Kishore Sharma also condoled the deaths.
