Chandigarh, Apr 14 (UNI) A fine all-round performance by skipper Vaibhav Kaushik (37 not out and 3 for 3, hat-trick) enabled St John's School beat Beacon's House School, Lahore by nine wickets to win the two-match series by 2-0 at the St John's High School here today.
Electing to bat first, the Lahore team put on a total of 85 runs in the stipulated 30 overs. Saad Bin Ayaz was the top scorer with 25 runs, Hassan Kamran contributed 18 runs. For the St John's team Vaibhav (3 for 3), Aditya Duggal (2 for 22), Vardaan Arora (2 for 20) bowled well.
In reply, it was a cakewalk for St John's team with Vaibhav Kaushik in full flow 37 (not out). He hit eight boundaries.
Gaurav Dhawan made unbeaten 14. For the Lahore School, Abdul was the lone wicket taker.
