Sharif's PML minister not to meet, travel with Musharraf: report

Islamabad, Apr 14 (UNI) Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) has said the party's ministers in the coalition government would not meet or travel with President Pervez Musharraf.

Local media reports today quoted senior PML (N) leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan as saying that the party did not accept Musharraf as a constitutional and legal president because he had come through force.

''We are not willing to enter into any kind of working relationship with Musharraf,'' he said.

Mr Nisar added that the people of the country had given mandate to the PML-N, and the party's elected members are committed to working for the development of the country and welfare of its people.

The PML-N leader said they have joined the government in the larger interest of democracy, and would not compromise on principles.

SL personnels arrival leads to tension at airport

Chennai, Dec 22: Tension prevailed at Anna international airport here early this morning when 18 Sri Lankan army personnel arrived by a Sahara Airlines flight from Colombo en route Mumbai. Official sources said some people started raising slogans against the Lankan army, under the impression that the army personnel from the island nation had come here for training. However, enquiries with police revealed that the army personnel, led by Liya Nayaga, were experts.....
