Lara Bingle returns to work after her engagement

Melbourne, Apr.14 : Australian model and television star Lara Bingle has returned to work after her engagement to cricket star Michael Clarke.

Bingle, 20, filmed her first episode of Channel Nine's new travel series, Holidays For Sale, on Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays last week.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Bingle has been hired as a travel reporter to co-star with veterans Shelley Craft and Laura Csortan as well as Underbelly actor Frankie J. Holden and swimmer Sam Riley.

"I've never done anything like this before, so it's a great opportunity,'' she told The Sunday Telegraph.

"I love to travel and I love the outdoors. I'm a bit of a thrill-seeker - I love jet skis and wakeboarding, stuff like that -so we'll be doing some real adrenalin-filled episodes,'' Bingle added.

Bingle shrugged off recent comparisons to Britain's Posh and Becks.

"Well, Michael's a sporting star like Beckham but, as for me, I'm nothing like Posh; I don't even wear heels for a start,'' she laughed.

Holidays For Sale premieres on Saturday, May 17 at 5 p.m. on Nine.
