Kiwi bowler praises Moody the coach

Mohali, Apr 14 (UNI) Praising Tom Moody as a very good coach, New Zealand fast bowler Kyle David Mills said that he was looking forward to working with him.

Talking to mediapersons after more than three-hours of practice at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium here today, the 27-year-old Mills, a member of the Kings XI Punjab which is participating in the eight-team Indian Premier League, said that the Aussie was one of the best coaches.

'' He has experience of coaching county and internationals. I am looking forward to working with him'', he added.

Regarding the launching of the Indian Premier League, Mills said '' Its exciting playing with the best players from different worlds. It is an opportunity to play with Sri Lankan and Australia players.'' ''They are all good, be it Hayden, Hussey Jacob and Dhoni. They are good players in the Indian Premier League,'' he added.

Speaking about the composition of the Kings XI Punjab, the New Zealand fast bowler said ''It is a good team. Good guys and lots of talented guys. I know guys pretty well. I am mingling with the team and so we have right balance as a team. So I think it won't be a problem.'' ''The Indian pitches suited Indians. The pitches are spinners friendly. But that nature of one day internationals, the home team has that advantage to prepare the wickets,'' he added.

Regarding the sub-continent conditions, the New Zealander said ''It is different from what we get in New Zealand. Mohali is probably closet but you have to adapt to the conditions.'' On New Zealand building up its national team, he said '' its a re-adjustment phase for us, as many of our players have left but still we did well against England.'' Weather here is worrying him as Kyle is finding it hot under sun.
