Tibetans hold rally in Mumbai

Mumbai, Apr 12: Hundreds of Tibetans, NGOs, volunteers and activists participated in a rally organised by the Tibetan Solidarity Committee at Azad Maidan here today. On the Indian government's stand, Ms Gyari said the winds of sympathy and concern for human rights seems to have finally reached New Delhi, after the Prime Minister had finally stated that the issue of Tibet should include the Dalai Lama. The walkouts in Parliament and support from parties across the board were also positive signs, she added.
