Hindu Mahasabha to celebrate Hindu Diwas in Ayodhya

Lucknow, Apr 12 (UNI) The Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha will celebrate it's 93rd Foundation Day as 'Hindu Swaraj Sankalp Diwas' tomorrow in Ayodhya.

Apprising about the fuction, Mahasabha General Secretary Kamlesh Tiwari today said the Faizabad district administration had yet not given it's nod for the same.

Charging the administration with indifference, he said, ''We have sent a letter to the Chief Minister informing about the indifferent attitude of the administration.'' Besides, sending a copy of the same to the Chief Secretary and Home Secretary.

Meanwhile, Faizabad SP (city) Gopesh Nath had denied any information regarding the function.

Assembly endorses UN chief's restructuring plan

United Nations, Mar 16: The United Nations General Assembly endorsed Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's plan to split the world body's burgeoning peacekeeping department into two units.Persistent in convincing members that the restructuring would raise efficiency, Ban insisted that two units were needed to handle the 18 peacekeeping missions fielding nearly 100,000 soldiers and civilians around the world, mainly in Africa.The plan initially came under criticism because of a possible conflict in reporting lines and because most diplomats believed it was conceived for.....
