Tree B'desh girls with fake passports held

Mysore, Apr 11 (UNI) City Crime Branch police arrested three girls from Bangladesh and two other girls who were engaged in flesh trade in the city yesterday.

Police said today that the girls from Bangladesh were staying in the city with fake passports.

On a tip off, police raided a place and arrested the accused.

Robina, Sheela and Swapana from Bangladesh, other two girls Sadhiya from Kolkata and Jyothy from Narasipura near here were working as sex workers in the city.

The police have arrested the girls from Bangladesh on charges of holding fake passports under the Immigration Act.

Modi responsible for Pavagadh stampede

Gandhinagar, Oct 15: Blaming the ruling BJP government for a stampede in the Maha Kali temple at Pavagadh, in which 11 devotees were killed, Opposition Leader in Gujarat state assembly Arjun Modhwadia today demanded judicial inquiry against the Modi government. ''Lakhs of devotees flock the fair in Pavagadh every year. Keeping this in mind, the government should have prepared a proper security plan that could have prevented the mishap. It is all due to the government's irresponsibility that the devotees lost.....
