Indore, Apr 11 (UNI) One bank employee was today killed and another injured when six criminals attacked them and looted Rs 20 lakh from them at Manik Bagh area in this city, police said.
City Superintendent of Police Sanjay Singh said three Union Bank employees, including a woman, were conveying Rs 20 lakh from one branch to another in an autorickshaw when they were attacked.
Two people were injured and one succumbed to his injuries in hospital later. The woman employee was unhurt.
SP Anshuman Yadav said the bank should have demanded security but it did not do so. Police have sealed the area to track down the culprits.
