AIADMK to contest seven seats in the state

Chennai, Apr 11: The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagem (AIADMK) will field seven candidates in the election to Karnataka Assembly, scheduled for May 10, 16 and 22.

AIADMK, General Secretary J Jayalalithaa, in a statement here, said the decision to enter the fray in Karnataka was taken at the party's Parliamentary committee.

The list of candidates and constituencies from where the party would contest are Karnataka state unit secretary K R Krishnaraj (Gandhi Nagar), Deputy Secretary M C Deivasagayam (Chamrajpet), Literary wing leader S K Ramasamy (Rajaji Nagar), V Pugazhendhi (Santhi Nagar), A Anandaraj (Kolar Gold Field), D Samraj alias Anbarasan (Pulicacy Nagar) and K Murthy (Sivaji Nagar).
