Tibetan freedom marchers reach New Delhi

New Delhi, Apr 10, 2008: More than hundred Tibetan exiles living in India's northern Dharamsala who had set out on a freedom march, reach Delhi on April 10.

They are also protesting against the killings that rocked the Tibetan capital Lhasa last month. The exiles are scheduled to be addressed by the Tibetan in-exile Prime Minister, Samdhong Rinpoche later in the day.

Congress supports Pranab on Tibet issue

New Delhi, Apr 2: The Congress today defended External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee who had reportedly urged Tibetan Spiritual Leader Dalai Lama not to engage in any political activity in India where he has been given asylum.
