Caracas, Venezuela, Apr 10: The Latin-American country Venezuela has given its full support to China on the Tibet issue.
Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez today said he backs China on the Tibet issue. Mr Chavez said he has also appealed to other countries to support China on the issue. ''America is the main force behind whatever is happening in Tibet and its motive is to create problems in the Olympic games. The whole world should support the Olympic games,'' Mr Chavez said. Lhasa the capital of Tibet, Lhasa recently witnessed violent protests against China, which resulted in strong reactions from all corners of the world.
India also witnessed demonstrations and protests by the supporters of Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama.
