Tibet March
New Delhi, Apr 10: Over one hundred exiled Tibetans in Dharamshala staged a demonstration after participating in a freedom march to New Delhi on Thursday.

They are also protesting against the killings that rocked Tibetan capital Lhasa last month. The exiled Tibetans are scheduled to be addressed by the Tibetan in-exile Prime Minister, Samdhong Rinpoche later in the day. These exiles had set out for Delhi from Dharamsala on March 10, 2008, marking their uprising day. According to Tibetan sources, their march was not smooth, with the Indian authorities detaining them at Jwalaji of Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh.

The sources further alleged that the marchers got split as many of them were kept in judicial custody for 14 days while others continued with their freedom march.

The refugees said that they were joined by western supporters and nuns en route.
