Hubli, Apr 10 (UNI) South Western Railway General Manager Praveen Kumar today said a departmental inquiry has been ordered into a case of alleged cheating of 84 rural aspirants by Chief Ticket Collector S Siddaiah.
Mr Praveenkumar told reporters here that Siddaiah had allegedly taken Rs 1.13 crore from them promising jobs in D group in 20007.
He said as police were investigating the matter, SWR would extend all cooperation to them.
