Kolhapur, Apr 10 (UNI) Mohammedan Sporting Club, Kolkata, defeated Mumbai Football Club 2-1 in the ONGC 2nd division National League Football tournament, played at Chhatrapati Shahu stadium here today.
With today's win, Mohammedan earned three points and they now have 12 points along with Mumbai.
Mumbai's Aseem K hit the first goal for his team in the 18th minute but two minutes later Mohammedan scored the first goal, to equal 1-1 at half time.
In second half, Mohammedan played aggressively and in the 38 minute, its captain Mike Okaro hit second goal for his team to take the lead 2-1.
Mumbai and Mohammedan each have 12 points from five outings and top in the points tally.
