Lok Satta condemns MNS's order on Marathis

Hyderabad, Apr 10 (UNI) The Lok Satta party today strongly condemned Maharashtra Nirman Samithi (MNS) Leader Raj Thackeray's latest ''implied'' threat of violence against private companies not employing Marathis, saying that every Indian, wherever he or she is born, has the right to pursue education, employment, profession or business.

In a statement here, he said coercive threats have no place in India's Constitutional democracy. ''Such actions are criminal and divide Indians along parochial lines. They also threaten the economic prosperity and growth of all Indians.

The government must punish the parochial politicians and protect the rights of all Indians and the integrity and unity of the nation'', the party said.
