HelloSoft launches HelloMobileCommunicator

Hyderabad, Apr 10 (UNI) HelloSoft Inc, the world's leading provider of VoIP/IMS/VCC technologies for wireline and wireless devices, announced the launch of HelloMobileCommunicator-FMC for Nokia's E-Series devices today.

The S60 Platform (formerly Series60 User Interface), a software platform for mobile phones that uses Symbian OS, is currently amongst the leading smartphone platforms in the world. It is developed primarily by Nokia and licensed to other manufacturers.

HelloMobileCommunicator-FMC is a standard-based complete solution enabling mass-market deployment of low-cost and power-efficient fully featured handsets.

The product provides a unified GUI to support voice, chat, messaging, phone book and contact applications.

''We are excited to provide our IMS/VCC technologies for Nokia E-Series devices and other popular S60 platform based mobile devices,'' Vice-President and General Manager for Business Development and Marketing at HelloSoft Ron Victor said.

''Adding the Nokia S60 platform to our portfolio of supported platforms for FMC enables our service provider and enterprise customers to broaden the number of handset choices available for FMC applications,'' he said in a press release here.
