Cincom India's iMAD partners with SRUTI



New Delhi, Apr 10 (ANI/Business Wire India): Cincom Systems India, a subsidiary of worldwide software provider Cincom Systems Inc, USA, today announced the association of its CSR initiative- I Made a Difference (iMAD) with Society for Rural Urban and Tribal Initiative (SRUTI).

Cincom donated 15 computers to schools operated by SRUTI for underprivileged children living in slums and backward areas.

Cincom truly believes that this association will unite Cincomer's on endeavors for making a difference.

SRUTI is a non-profit organization working towards developing community initiatives like child education, livelihood, relief and rehabilitation, urban renewal and environment conservation.

SRUTI was founded in 1983 by the renowned writer and social activist Tara Ali Baig and others like Ela Bhatt, Bunker Roy and Dr. Samir Chaudhuri.

Pantulu Avasarala, Director, Cincom Systems India said, "This association will help both organizations to work closely for the betterment of the society and sustain community empowerment. We accentuate the power of helping others internal or external to the company".

SRUTI's other unique initiative includes "Trash to Cash", where trash is collected (newspaper, magazine, scrap, etc) from various organizations and individuals. The collected trash is then sold converting the same into cash, invested for the betterment of the underprivileged.

Jaspreet Pannu, Program Executive, SRUTI said that Cincom IMAD's commitment and SRUTI's initiative shall together be an investment in those young lives who are striving to learn and achieve a life with dignity.

She further added, "As a partner in the social cause Cincom's exemplify its iMAD philosophy, and demonstrate its effort towards diminishing poverty and provide meaningful experiences to those who otherwise would be destined for despair and hopelessness."

Assam Company commences oil delivery from Amguri field

New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) Assam Company Ltd (ACL) has begun delivery of oil from its operated field in Amguri to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) refinery in Guwahati, Assam, about 115 km away. The oil is being sold at the same price as a basket of crude oils with similar characteristics traded in the international market, a company release here said. The oil produced from Amguri is first trucked to Oil India Ltd (OIL) facility at Moran.....
